Hiking
The small eco-village Ingebo Hagar is 5 km south of Vimmerby.
It includes a highly recommended eco-cafe with its own or local products. The operators come from southern Germany, which makes things a lot easier when choosing orders ;-)
I recommend taking a short hike in the morning (signposted circular hiking trails start right at the parking lot) through the beautiful natural landscape and then stop off and simply enjoy Småland.
