The 23 meter high Paulinenwarte lookout tower in the middle of the Türkenschanzpark is a brick building. In the past it also served as a water reservoir.Since August 2010, the tower has been open to the public after extensive renovation work and is opened on certain weekends by Naturfreunde Währing. The observation deck offers a panoramic view of Vienna and the Vienna Woods.The tower is optically and structurally adapted to the style of the surrounding villas in the cottages district.The tower is named after Princess Pauline Metternich, who had donated many exotic plants to the Türkenschanzpark.Children up to 14 years - only when accompanied by an adult: free of charge
A maximum of 12 people may visit the tower at the same time.
