a church had already been promised to the village when it was founded in 1754. But only realized 150 years later, in November 1899. A crucifix, two candlesticks and a Bible were brought in by Empress Auguste Victoria in 1905. The candlestick and the Bible bear the empress's emblem.

Restaurant Phillipsthal is always worth a stop, delicious food, very courteous service, beautiful inner courtyard. Make a reservation!
