Mountain biking

The steep meadows on the Irrenberg are mowed once a year shortly before the summer holidays with log mowers (because they are so steep). Volunteers then add the hay together and transport it down to the valley on tarpaulins. There the hay is then loaded and used by farmers on loading wagons. Annual mowing is important. This is the only way to protect and conserve the species-rich meadows. Helpers are urgently needed. You can find more information under "Action Irrenberg" on the Internet.
