The Finkenrech leisure center offers many opportunities for relaxation in nature.

Area: 60,000 m²

The gardens of the Finkenrech leisure center in the Neunkirchen district provide tips and advice for the design and care of the local ornamental and vegetable garden. The rose garden is home to all the roses that are named after the names of the German rose villages and towns. Plants that play an important role in conventional medicine are in the medicinal plant garden.

A variety of herbs, tea and spice plants as well as vegetables, fruit and grains can be found in the farm garden.

A new highlight in the gardens is the Asian garden with Zen or gravel garden, pond garden, landscape garden and bamboo grove. A football field, the disabled-accessible playground and a corn maze open in summer as well as the Finkenrech country hotel with its culinary specialties round off the offer. Among the numerous events, the farmers' markets in April and September are particularly popular.
