The Goßmannsdorf barrage is a lock with a weir system in the Main on the southern edge of the town of Goßmannsdorf.

The lock has a drop height of 3.40 meters. The lock chamber is 300 meters long and 12 meters wide. Folding gates are used as sluice gates in the upper water in the lower water impact gates. The lock was completed in 1951.

The weir was put into operation in 1952. The retention of the headwater is 6.65 km. In total, the water falls over three rollers, each 30 meters wide: one submerged roller and two normal rollers. On the Goßmannsdorf side there is a hydropower plant that uses two Kaplan turbines with a flow rate of 100 m³ / s to generate an output of 2.15 megawatts. The construction of the new Main Bridge north of the weir made the walkway over the weir superfluous.
