Hiking

On March 7th, 2020 the Bürgerwald in Warstein was opened. In a large community campaign, 1166 trees (pedunculate oak, winter linden, bird cherry) were donated by the citizens and planted themselves. Many families used this to set their own "family tree". Hereby, the citizens of Warstein want to send a signal against climate change and counteract the bark beetle plague of 2019 resulting from the dry summers.
