Geographically, it is isolated from Atzúbia by the last foothills of the Almirall mountain range and open to the Horta d'Oliva, towards which the Forna ravine heads. There is an important presence of foreign population, especially British.
It is located at the foot of a hill where the Arab castle of Forna is located.
