Hiking

Stories about the Starfighter are still unbelievable and this is where one crashed. The research on this pilot rewards with a few more information: The 27-year-old student pilot and Sergeant Günter Pethke from Berlin and his flight instructor were on a practice flight. While the first aircraft flew just over the Wesergebirgskamm, the student pilot did not manage the mountain. The scene of the accident was a single rubble field, the remains of the machine spread over a six-hectare area due to the explosion. The Bundeswehr cordoned off the area widely.
