Dating back to around 100 to 200 AD, Kildonan Dun is a well-preserved fortified farmstead between Campbeltown and Carradale. The crumbling walls, surrounded by farmland, would once have been used to house people and livestock.
You can explore the remarkable ruins which overlook the ocean. Entrance is free.
