The Kastlhang cave, which served as a resting place for the hunters from the Old and Middle Stone Age, has an area of at least 400 m² and has two entrances. Already at the end of the 19th century prehistoric finds were found in the entrance area of the cave. The first archaeological excavations took place in 1888 and continued until 1907.
