An ancient oak tree, which must be several hundred years old, stands on the path to the Fennern. The Fennern can be found between Vordemwald and Bösenwil, Brittnau municipality. Even as a small boy I was impressed by the size of the oak tree. Even back then we needed five people to “measure” the circumference together. Shake hands with each other, stretch out your arms, lean against the tree and thus surround the tree.

The ancient tree still fascinates me today. What has he probably already experienced???
