The partly nameless Mangfall channels served almost exclusively for the industrial use of hydropower. In the Kolbermoor community area, from the city limits of Bad Aibling, there is an almost straight Mangfall Canal, built around 1860 by the Kolbermoor cotton mill, which leads through Kolbermoor to Rosenheim, where it is partly divided into Stadtbach and Hammerbach.

To the left and right of the Mangfall Canal, cycle and footpaths lead towards Bad Aibling and on the opposite side to Kolbermoor and on to Rosenheim, where the canal ends and the Mangfall flows into the Inn
