The trail is accessible from the Arnsberg summit cross to the Arnsberg hiking hut. Although it lies on parts of a windbreak and there is a risk of thorns (May 2020), it can be traded with a little technical ability to drive.
Caution should only be exercised on the follow-up trail from the hiking hut down to the column trail. This trail is only for very experienced riders and I can only recommend avoiding and avoiding this descent from the hiking hut!
