Just to see how crazy contemporaries deal with nature, you should look at it.
Unfortunately, trees can not fight back.

It stood for more than 300 years, then in 1994 unknown people destroyed the tree around which generations celebrated their festivals. It was the same year, when we had inaugurated our migrant home, named after the damaging tree. The consternation was great and the thick oak never recovered from the deep saw cut. It had to be shut down in 2011 for safety reasons. After several attempts, some of the comrades from Erfweiler and Hauenstein have now been able to plant a new oak tree. We hope that she, too, will be big and strong and will please many generations.
