Emil Racoviță Shipwreck

There are not many who know that at the bottom of Lake Bicaz stands what many years ago, was considered the pearl of the fleet on that lake.
The ship, or rather the wreck comes to light almost every year, when the lake's water level drops much, by over 20 meters.
It can be seen best on the bank near the road that leads to the white spring, near the dam.
"It once belonged to the University of Alexandru Ioan Cuza in Iasi and, following a dispute, was abandoned at the bottom of the lake. The vessel had a German engine and the interior of mahogany wood of the highest quality ”.
The ship arrived on Bicaz Lake somewhere after the year 90 and it changed its owners until it was not known who it is, remaining abandoned, and finally sank.
