Spillway with a great view and working lock complex on a channelized portion of the Kissimmee River for boat traffic.

There are pedestrian gates on both sides of the lock and you may use them on your own, even though the signs going SoBo tell otherwise (provided the lock isn’t in operation) during the following hours: Monday to Friday 7 AM to 6 PM, Saturday and Sunday 5:30 AM to 7:30 PM (March through October), 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM (November through February)
