From the top off the hill at the start point, you have a very nice view all over the fields with the tower of the church of Lichtervelde at the foot of the hill. You pass under the highway E403 and after you leave the tunnel, you'll be surprised of the pittoresk view....

Instead of taken the road straight from Zwevezele to Koolskamp, where the cars pull up on the rather small road (hard to pass with two cars), it's worth to make up your mind and take this by-pass. You have two options: arriving at the tunnel under the E403, you pass under the tunnel and take the first left, or you keep the tunnel on your right hand and continue the road. You'll arrive almost at the end of the straight road (only 1.5 km to the intersection).
