Hiking
The bridge, built between 1946 and 1949 by the MAN plant in Gustavsburg, is a replacement for the arched bridge from 1896, which was destroyed by the Wehrmacht on April 26, 1945. It was inaugurated by Bishop Michael Buchberger on December 27, 1949. Between October 1993 and August 1994, the bridge was rebuilt and adapted to the load specifications of DIN 1072. The bridge arches and abutments were retained.
