The Teufelsstein is a wall-like, double-towered granite summit cliff with wool sack and mattress weathering. In sections with narrow crevices, the rock is weathered like a honeycomb. At the foot of the south cliff a gneiss floe has been preserved in the rock. Numerous sagas and legends entwine around this unusual rock formation.
