Hiking

You drive with the Jennerbahn to the mountain station. From there it is again on foot uphill to the summit from where you have a magnificent view of the Königssee. In the summer probably very crowded so I was there in the fall which was a little more pleasant. It is enough a normal mountain hiking equipment but which is advantageous if you have 2 hiking poles there.
The way down is very nice and good to walk. On the way you come past mountain huts where you can stop.

Hiking

One of the most beautiful and promising hikes in the Berchtesgaden Alps. From the Hinterbrand parking lot via the Mitterkaser Alm and Jenner to the Carl von Stahlhaus. Back over the Schneibsteinhaus, the Priesberg Enzian-Brennhütte and the Königsbachalm. From there to the Jenner middle station and on to the parking lot.
