Riverside Country Park is a large coastal public park on the River Medway estuary. The park boasts a variety of habitats, including mudflats, salt marsh, ponds, reed-beds, grassland, and scrub, and is a great place for spotting wildlife. Part of the Medway Marshes Site of Special Scientific Interest, the park is an internationally-important haven for wintering birds that thrive on the invertebrate-rich mudflats.
