A wonderful local recreation area in which you can practice some leisure activities, such as hiking, cycling, pedal boating or swimming.

Beautiful lake on the Bocholter Aa. Fine sandy beach and fair prices. Water quality was good in August 2018. The bath was refreshing and cooling. The parking lot was sufficient.

Be it as a stopover by bike or as a short walk around the lake. It's always worth it. The adjoining climbing park is also highly recommended.
As of June 23, 2019, "Borken Bay" will open in summer. Another reason for a visit to the Pröbstingsee.October 7, 2018
