In truth this hill is rather anonymous, even the classic sign indicating the altitude is missing... but its strong point is the panorama which allows you to embrace the sea on one side, and the peaks of the gloomy mountains on the other, in this period (early March) blanketed in snow! From Testico the climb is challenging for the few km remaining to the pass, in winter it is also quite freezing because the road passes on the shaded side of the mountain, and the change in vegetation is also clear: from flowering brooms to moss-covered fir trees with just a few pedal strokes! It's a shame not to be able to celebrate the climb with a beer, there isn't even a bar on the hill, there isn't even a fountain... but the view repays the effort of the climb!
