This is a mostly gradual descent with very rocky sections, which worked quite well going fast as speed is your friend on this stuff! DO NOT GET CARRIED AWAY, as there is a turn to take to stay on the piste if you want to follow the AMR2020 route — unlike me who overshot! (this section Highlight stops at the turn) — I missed the turn and went down the wrong side of the ridge, dropping onto the main road too high up, (I was waaaaay ahead of the girls), so had to road ride to the village where we met up at the ride finish.

This is an old french colonial piste, probably made between 1912 and 1934, during the "pacification campaigns". It's completely impossible to do it by any 4x4 because some sections were dynamited during the independence (1956). That's the fantastic piste on this trailer:.
