Frans Watermill

In the mill is a small exhibition about the history of the mill.

Watermill Frans is located in Mander (municipality of Tubbergen). This overshot mill on the Mosbeek was built in the early 1700s as a paper mill. The then owner was the paper manufacturer Willem Cramer from Ootmarsum. In 1870, the Cramer family sold the mill to Bernard Frans, who converted it into a flour mill and built a mill chamber. Since 1963, the mill has been the property of the Overijssel Landscape Foundation. This foundation had Watermolen Frans restored and housed a permanent exhibition about the history of the mill as a paper mill and grain mill. The Watermill is part of the Dal van de Mosbeek visitor center.
