As of 05/21: It is a forest path. Great for gravel bikes or MTBs. If you are on the road with a racing bike, you have to take some time to get through without flat tires. I find it more pleasant than the federal road and the subsequent border crossing in Sebnitz. Everyone has to decide for themselves. :)

I see it like Marco. It depends what you want. In principle, you can go long here on a racing bike. It's borderline but doable. You just have to drive a little slowly. It's not a broken leg for me and I can also drive to the Czech Republic via Neustadt. The piece is not very long and then it goes on again on good coverings.

Following Olaf and Marco's advice, I braved the challenge with my road bike and mastered it without a flat tire or visible puncture (tubeless, 700x25c). It's not difficult to slow down uphill. But I was a little worried about my rims and tires on a few sections – the 2km are very mixed, sometimes fine, sometimes very rough gravel. It's also a bit of a technical workout.
