Spa Valley Railway opened in 1855 as part of the East Grinstead, Groombridge, and Tunbridge Wells Railway. As cars became more popular, the railway struggled to continue and was closed in 1985.

The railway re-opened again in 1997. You can catch a historical ride on steam trains through the countryside. The railway also often holds events like dine-in rides and santa journeys. Tickets for adults cost £12. You can find more information, here: spavalleyrailway.co.uk

The latter part of this ride is parallel to the Spa Valley Railway. James saw a Dear in the woods as we rode by. Orange coloured water leaks from the heath onto the roads.
