Best Hikes to Kinnell Stone Circle

Tips

  • Kinnell Stone Circle is located in picturesque countryside on the banks of the River Dochart. The stone circle—which consists of six upright slabs, ranging in height from around five feet (one-and-a-half metres) to six-and-a-half feet (two metres)—is thought to date from the 2nd or 3rd Millennium BC. Kinnell is on private land, which may contain livestock. As such, appropriate respect should be paid when visiting.
