Unfortunately, the depth of Harwoods Hole cannot be seen properly without tools. Be careful, the hole is not secured.

New Zealand's deepest vertical cave shaft is in Harwood Hole. It begins on the surface as a 50 m wide, round entrance and reaches 183 m depth, [1] to meet later with the Starlight Cave, where there is another exit. The descent takes place on a rope and is unusual because of the depth. The total depth of the cave is 357 m.
