Molkenhaus (HWN 169)

Unfortunately the whey house is currently closed. However, there is a stamp of the Harzer hiking pin on the building: number 169.

Unfortunately, the forest restaurant has been closed for a long time, but plenty of seating for a relaxed break and stamp number 169 of the Harzer hiking pin.

The quaint Waldgasthaus Molkenhaus can be reached on foot or by bus (May-October). Here you have an unobstructed view of a clearing with game feeding (in the winter months) and of the beautiful Harz forests
On the spacious terrace you are a little bit closer to nature and when the weather is nice you can also let yourself be pampered in the sun loungers. The beer garden area with additional seats on rustic wooden benches and the self-service kiosk are right in front of the whey house.
