Mountain biking
From this ridge you have an excellent view over Ōme city and the Tokyo back country to the west as well as Mount Tsukuba and metropolitan Tokyo to the east. I recommend you bring your thermos and have a coffee break there. Please be aware that these are hiking trails. Only go riding your mountain bike when the trails are dry, and be careful and respectful to others and yield to pedestrians. The trails are pretty frequented on weekends but the atmosphere is friendly. It is roughly 5 km distance and 200 m of elevation from JR Ōme Station.
