The Heidenkeller ramparts consist of a section rampart with a neck ditch on the mountain side in the south and well-preserved ramparts that surround the mountain spur. The neck ditch has been largely filled in the meantime. The stone walls, some of which are up to 80 centimeters high, are presumably fallen dry stone walls. The ramparts enclose a plateau of 75 meters in the longitudinal axis and 30 meters in the transverse axis. (Source: Badische Zeitung of November 14, 2011)
