The view is great! Always watch out for the wind before going up. A fantastic mountain for training.

Also go up from Sault, very nice and not that difficult. Very nice ascent, different on all 3 sides and always beautiful. A must for every cyclist.

3 times conquered the mountain in one day. So you get into the "Club de Cingles" - the club of the crazy.
And you can be proud of it.

The Mont Ventoux is of course an absolute "MUST" for every racing cyclist. And apart from the Tour de France hype around this mountain, it's just beautiful - great stretch of bedoin first through the sparse oak forest, then through the barren lime landscape with a view of the provence you must have experienced. And if you're not riding uphill at a race pace, the gradient is also much less dramatic than people like to tell.

I'm not in the club yet, but the idea is funny. Or rather crazy? But does not contradict itself. :)

A trip to the top of Mont Ventoux is a must when in Provence. An ascent of almost 1,600 vertical feet can be conquered on this outpost of the Alps, and it is especially the last part of the ascent that leaves one speechless. This rubble desert is just breathtaking.

The highlight for every racing cyclist in Provence! Whoever manages that is indeed a "madman"!

Grandiose, very impressive panoramic view over the Provence, with good views to the Mediterranean Sea. No less impressive the climbs :-)

Club des Cinglés, 4x up in one day ... and of course down again. The last ride with the MTBike through the forest ... very difficult ... but done ... so you will be a Galérien du Ventoux :-)

Do it in September / October because the shape is usually right. I speak from experience. I am already a member of the Club de Cincles and have climbed the mountain three times. Great feeling.

Really tough climb from Bedouin classic side to reach the top of this monumental climb

Summiting Mont Ventoux 3 times is a tough challenge but well worth doing. Join the club here.

I think you do not have to write much about Mont Ventoux. Who is on the summit before 9 o'clock can still enjoy some loneliness. Then it gets full. The weather can change quite fast. Therefore be prepared for everything. If you start the mountain from all three sides in one day, you qualify for the "Club des Cingles du Mont-Ventoux." Before you can order a corresponding stamp card from the club.

Always busier, but this way you can always find someone for the obligatory photo 😉

A trip in winter up to Mont Ventoux is something very special. Depending on how much snow there is, you can get very high to the summit or only up to 1500 m or 1600 m.

A legend of the TDF does not need any further introduction 😉
    - Ascent hard, wind almost always but no use - up there!

If you start it up - no matter from which side - you should arrive here, otherwise the whole effort would be rather fruitless. Have the wind vest or jacket on and take a photo in front of the sign by a trustworthy racing cyclist who is also standing up in the cold.

One of the most difficult passes in France ... the last part from Chalet Reynard is mineral (and therefore magnificent !!)
