Top cycling routes to Marmore Waterfall (Lower Belvedere)

Tips

  • With controlled flow, it is the highest artificial waterfall in Europe and among the highest in the world, counting on an overall height difference of 165 m divided into three jumps. The name derives from the calcium carbonate salts present on the rocks and similar to white marble. It is part of the Nera river park.

  • Gorgeous place! ATTENTION!! There is no longer the agreement that they let you pass for free with the bikes

  • Definitely worth a stop are the Marmore waterfalls. The admission was 10€ but you get to see some spectacular waterfalls. And I don’t really like waterfalls! Then you can cross the river on your bike using Sentiero 6.
