With controlled flow, it is the highest artificial waterfall in Europe and among the highest in the world, counting on an overall height difference of 165 m divided into three jumps. The name derives from the calcium carbonate salts present on the rocks and similar to white marble. It is part of the Nera river park.

Definitely worth a stop are the Marmore waterfalls. The admission was 10€ but you get to see some spectacular waterfalls. And I don’t really like waterfalls! Then you can cross the river on your bike using Sentiero 6.
