Biking into the East Entrance is less crowded than the West, and offers probably the quickest access to Many Glacier, an area known for its abundant wildlife. Note that vehicles have access to Going-to-the-Sun Road without vehicle reservation required from this side.
This side offers hiking trails such as St. Mary Falls Trail and Jackson Glacier Overlook Trail, and Boat tours on St. Mary Lake.
