Wenn you start your ascent from the plateau, you won't find a path. But you will spot a red mark, when you look in the direction of the peak. After you reached the waymark by walking over the slightly swampy plain, another mark appears – and so on. The terrain is getting steeper and rocky soon, but the actual challenge is to spot the next waymark, since segments where you can see a path are thin on the ground.
