Šnipiškės Underground Munitions Warehouse

Underground munitions warehouse from Vilnius defensive garrison complex, built between 1923-1939.
Each group consisted of 5 underground warehouses, of which 1 was two-level, while remaining 4 are single level. Each of the warehouses had two entrances. There has already been a narrow gauge railway line connecting all the warehouses (underground and above ground) and the defensive bunkers on the east side of the city.
Some of the warehouses of this specific complex have been converted by soviets to civil bomb hideouts - see the enlargened entrances. However, when installing additional ventilation soviets have damaged the waterproofing thus there's quite some water inside the last two warehouses.
These are possible to enter, but beware of the bats that inhabit these cold and dark cellars.
