The former town hall in Heilbronn's Neckargartach district is a half-timbered building from 1650 at Mittelstrasse 3.

From 1805 until Neckargartach was incorporated into Heilbronn in 1938, the town was an independent political municipality with its own administrative headquarters. Neckargartach also had its own mayor, mayor and judge when it was an imperial town in Heilbronn (from the Middle Ages to 1805). On May 6th and 7th, 1622, as a result of the Battle of Wimpfen, the place was destroyed by the Spanish army under Cordova, who had pitched his quarters near Neckargartach. Except for the church, the whole of Neckargartach was set on fire.

Today's Old Town Hall was built in 1650 after the destruction of Neckargartach, rebuilt in 1884 and completely renovated in 1897/98 after a heavy hailstorm. In 1935/36, the historical half-timbering was uncovered again during a conversion. After the many destructions that Neckargartach had to experience in the Middle Ages, the town hall is a symbol of the self-confidence of the people of Neckargartach. Today the building is used as an administrative office and youth center.
