From the trail parking lot it goes on the way into the forest; after 250 m you are on the left in front of the 2700-year-old burial mound "Schallerholz". An information board provides information about the burial mounds and the grave goods found there, as well as information about the time in which the burial mound group in Schallerholz was created. Grave mounds, as found near Speikern, Kersbach and Rollhofen, are in most cases attributed to the Hallstatt period (750-500 BC).
