Former castle chapel, which still bears witness to its baroque splendor today.

In the 16th century Baron von Kollonicz erected a stately castle in place of the large Freihof, on the eastern side of which the present-day local chapel was built. In the later demolition of the castle, the chapel was purchased by the community and built the current tower. The elaborate stucco work on the ceiling and on the walls, with which (as the church) allegedly the whole Hagenbrunner castle was provided, today still bear witness to a splendid past. The former castle chapel is one of the most important sights of Hagenbrunn. Old cellar vaults and the name "Schloßgasse" are reminiscent of the former Hagenbrunner castle.

The former chapel of the castle, built in 1603 and demolished in 1802, is a baroque building from 1673, probably with an older wall core.

The church consists of a long nave with two side aisles in the north and south. The front, four-story facade tower is from 1865.
