Observation tower and shelter at Kapellenmoor

In the natural area Kapellenmoor you can enjoy the peace and closeness to nature. From the observation tower you have a great overview and can watch with patience and luck even the animal inhabitants of the area. A shelter can also be found here, which is always open.

In the shelter you will find information about the chapel moor. Comfortable resting place with a working old handle pump.

This information and rest hut is worth a visit. Sponsored by Volksbank Emstal, it was lovingly restored by members of the Historical Agriculture Working Group, spending over 1,000 hours on it. It is to be hoped that this condition will continue for a long time to come.Numerous informational displays about flora, fauna, and wildlife are inviting not only for adults but also for children.Right next door is a viewing tower overlooking the Kapellenmoor.
