The cycle path gate over the Peene and a wonderful view of the Anklam harbor. In the evening there is a wonderfully romantic lighting.

This bridge was built especially for pedestrians and cyclists, after the traffic to the island of Usedom on the newly built concrete bridge was. At the site of the present pedestrian bridge there was originally a bascule bridge and later an arched bridge, which was often referred to as the "longest" bridge in the world, because you could not look from one end to the other.
