The suspension bridge over the Rivière des Galets is an alternative to crossing the river below (between La Nouvelle and Marla) or above (between Col des Boeufs and Marla). From the north side you can see a pretty waterfall, from the south it is easy to get there the pools above the waterfall. Definitely worth a detour if you go either way.
