Several miles of sandy beach in a warm color, inviting for swimming, mainly at high tide when the water is high above the deeper pebbles and rocks offshore. It is accompanied by a popular promenade, also used by the Vélodyssée (EuroVélo1) bike trail, that separates it from the coastal road.

Large, wide bay that flows into the port of Sables d'Olonne. The Velodysée (EuroVélo1) runs along the promenade directly along the promenade. Cycling is always great with a wonderful view of the sea.
