The Christ Church (Chinese: Jiangsu Lu Jidu Jiaotang "Christian Church on Jiangsu Street") was built between 1908 and 1910 and was a place of worship for the German and international community of Qingdao until 1949. Converted into a hospital after the foundation of the VR, the building has been used as a church again since the end of 1980. Today meetings and devotions of an unofficial German community take place there again.
