On the remote sweep of moorland between Fort William and Loch Treig is the small Meanach Bothy. Sporting two basic rooms, what it lacks in luxury it makes up for with a stonking view of the Grey Corries ridgeline and back to the Mamores of Binnein Beag and Sgurr Eilde Mor. Access may be restricted during stalking season, which runs from 15th August to 20th October. Contact the local estate on 01855 831 337 for more information.
