The Tauglgries is a largely intact wild river landscape along the Taugl with wide sand and gravel banks. It is designated as a Natura 2000 area to protect wild animals and plants.Along a hiking trail that leads to the oldest bridge in Salzburg, the so-called Römerbrücke or Teufelsbrücke, you can visit the nature reserve and learn interesting facts from numerous information boards. In the vicinity of the Roman bridge, numerous sun worshipers can be found on the large stone slabs, weather permitting.

Beautiful route, not too many height differences and therefore suitable for almost anyone with good mobility. Beautiful paths, some parts on the road and beautiful views. also an excellent route with a dog.
