This is a classic post mill, i.e. a wooden structure on an axis (post), allowing the entire mill body, including the windmills, to rotate in relation to the wind — a popular form in rural regions in the 18th–19th centuries.

The windmills are relatively new, and one is broken. More important is the nice guesthouse right across the street, which sells delicious ice cream and drinks and offers a lovely place to linger.
