The San Juan de Gaztelugatxe Viewpoint is one of the most impressive places in the Basque Country. From there, you can contemplate the impressive views of the sea and the island of Gaztelugatxe, with its famous hermitage at the top.
The hermitage, dedicated to San Juan Bautista, dates from the 10th century and is located on top of a rocky islet connected to the coast by a stone bridge with 241 steps.
